Not only is it calorically dense, but oils are also useful in cleaning up a horse’s coat and adding the shine you desire. Studies have shown the addition of oil in a horse’s diet to increase the flexibility of hooves and to be considered “calm energy” as it won’t cause a hot-head or overly excited horse.
